Dec. 7: Easter Seals UCP, Crisis Control, Arts & Science Council, and more

Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia received $4,156.67 grant from St. James United Methodist Church, Greenville, to underwrite three projects benefiting families and children with special needs.

Crisis Control Ministry received $30,000 grant from The Women’s Fund of Winston-Salem to support Breaking the Cycle Program that provides case management for clients who need training and skill management in areas such as budgeting, job training, and interview skills.

Arts & Science Council, Charlotte, in conjunction with arts councils in Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Rowan, Rutherford and York counties and with support of North Carolina Arts Council and Blumenthal Endowment, awarded grants to 19 visual artists and filmmakers.
