Jan. 3: Houston Endowment, Coca Cola, CVS Caremark, and more

Houston Endowment awarded $5 million to University of Houston, which will use funds to help increase number of doctoral students it graduates annually.


The Coca-Cola Foundation, philanthropic arm of The Coca-Cola Company, awarded grants totaling $4 million to 38 organizations across the U.S. and Canada in fourth quarter 2010.


CVS Caremark Charitable Trust donated total of $3.3 million to 72 nonprofits across U.S.
