Jan. 25: Online training, online giving circle, Success for Kids, and more

FirstNet Learning, Denver, and The Redwoods Group, Morrisville, N.C., launched The Redwoods Institute, free online university designed to help YMCA, Jewish Community Center and resident camp staff learn to keep kids safe by preventing drowning, injury, abuse, vehicular accidents and other incidents.


Five organizations formed partnership in online giving circle called The Neutral Ground, which The Greater New Orleans Foundation, a partner and host of the giving circle, says will be the first-ever giving circle conducted entirely online.


Claire Stanton, former head of regional and branch fundraising development, Parkinson’s UK, named executive director, Success for Kids London.


Ingrid Blanton, former associate vice president of gift planning, Emory University, named vice president of development, EARTH University, Limon, Costa Rica, with offices in Atlanta and Michigan.
