Feb. 3: High Point U., Urban Ministries, Women’s Fund, and more

Scott A. and Shelby Tilley of High Point donated $250,000 to High Point University to support Trading Room of the Center for Financial Research in Plato S. Wilson School of Commerce.


Urban Ministries of Durham received Stewards Fund challenge grant that will match, dollar for dollar up to $50,000, contributions from first-time donors or any increased gift from current donors between February 1 and May 31.


North Carolina Community Foundation awarded total of $9,000 in grants from statewide Women’s Fund to Albemarle Hopeline, Elizabeth City; Girls Incorporated of the Albemarle, Elizabeth City; Healing Place of Wake County, Raleigh; My Sister’s House, Rocky Mount; ARTS North Carolina, Raleigh; and Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Wilmington.
