Salvation Army of Wake County received challenge from The Stewards Fund to match $300,000 for campaign to support new Center for Hope.


Lucy Daniels Center met $75,000 fundraising goal at Bookmarked! 2011 festival through corporate and individual sponsors, including presenting sponsor The Body Shop, event sponsor Wachovia A Wells Fargo Company, and platinum sponsors Time Warner Cable and Steven and Becky Scott.


Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Forsyth County received $30,000 grant from The Winston Salem Foundation, through funds from Bess Gray Plumly Fund and the Kerr and Naomi Pinnix Discretionary Fund, to support Forsyth’s foreclosure-prevention program.
