Sisters of Mercy Foundation of North Carolina awarded Youth Villages grant of $43,400 to support staff position in Transitional Living program.


Winston-Salem Foundation awarded $65,000 grant to Horizons Residential Care Center to repair roof on its Rural Hall residential facility.


Physicians Foundation awarded grant of nearly $750,000 to Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, to track ongoing physician workforce needs throughout U.S.


PlayMakers Repertory Company, Chapel Hill, received $100,000 grant from National Endowment for the Arts to support repertory production of three Shakespeare plays, and $25,000 from NEA and Arts Midwest for NEA’s Shakespeare program.


Bank of America Charlotte, provided $200 million in philanthropic giving in 2010.
