Project L.I.F.T., Charlotte, community initiative to help close achievement gap in West Charlotte Corridor schools, committing $950,000 to support Communities in Schools of Charlotte-Mecklenburg.


United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro announced $565,000 in grants for 2011-12 grant cycle to 20 local arts projects and organizations.
