The Otto Bremer Trust awarded $7,943,122 in 126 grants in its recent grant making cycle to recipients in the Upper Midwest.

Strada Education Network gave a $6.5 million grant to the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

Detroit Journalism Cooperative and the Detroit Journalism Engagement Fund received a total of more than $2.3 million from the Knight Foundation, Ford Foundation, and the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

The USTA Foundation reached $25 million in the total amount it gave to grass-roots tennis and educational programs.

CommunityBank of Texas and Federal Home Loan Bank of Texas awarded Legacy Community Development Corporation a $10,000 Partnership Grant Program.

Avon and the Avon Foundation for Women gave $500,000 in grants to safety and empowerment for women in the United States.

The New York Times received an anonymous $1 million gift towards its “sponsor a subscription” program. The gift will help provide New York Times digital subscriptions for 1.3 million public school students across the United States.

Axalta Coating Systems employees collaborated with GoBabyGo! to retrofit and present six toddlers with toy cars which fit the mobility needs of the children. 

CASE Construction Equipment is donating more than $175,000 in materials to Habitat for Humanity from it CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 exhibit. 

The Semper Fi Fund raised a total of $20 million in its annual “Double Down for Veterans” fundraising challenge. The campaign ran for two months, with The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation pledging to match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $10 million.
