A $15,000 grant from the Perry N. Rudnick Endowment of the Community Foundation of Henderson County was awarded to the Will & Deni McIntyre Foundation for the production of Season 4 of the PBS series David Holt’s State of Music 

The members of the Women’s Giving Network of Wake County donated $89,000 in local grant awards at the 12th annual Impact Luncheon.

The North Carolina Community Foundation has given $500,000 in grant awards across eastern North Carolina from the Louise Oriole Burevitch Endowment.

The Jones County Community Foundation awarded $2,000 in local grant awards from the community grantmaking fund. 

The Avery Community Foundation awarded $3,260 in local grant awards from the community grantmaking fund.

The Harnett County Community Foundation awarded $6,270 in local grant awards from the community grantmaking fund.

The  Greene County Community Foundation awarded $4,450 in local grant awards from the community grantmaking fund.

The Foundation for a Healthy High Point welcomed Mr. Tyler Covington, Dr. James Hoekstra, and Dr. Linda Taylor as the three newest members to the Board of Directors in 2018.

MeckEd honored Charlotte Works as the 2018 Education Champion of the Year on November 13th at their Annual Community Breakfast.

Wes Misson and Brian Van Buren joined the board of directors of the Alzheimer’s Association – Western Carolina Chapter.

Randolph County Young Life‘s Winter Sprinter 5k will be held Saturday, December 1st at 9:00 AM.

Opening night of Raleigh Little Theatre‘s “Cinderella” on Friday, November 30 benefits WRAL’s Coats for the Children, with $10 of every ticket going to provide warm coats for children in need through the The Salvation Army of Wake County.  

The state’s Broadband Infrastructure Office has declared that Internet service providers interested in the new GREAT Grant Program can now apply for funding through an online portal. 

The Holiday R & B Paint for a Cause will take place on December 8th from at 8 PM in the Durham Ballroom.
