The Kavli Foundation committed $3 million to support ongoing neuroscience research at the Salk Institute.

The Wounded Warrior Project awarded a $150,000 grant in support of Military Child Education Coalition to sustain programs and workshops in Colorado Springs area schools.

TechSoup received a $2.5 million grant from VMware Foundation to support initiatives to significantly expand its offerings and nearly double the number of nonprofit organizations it serves.

The SunTrust Foundation awarded $2.7 million in grants to 36 nonprofit organizations across the South and Midwest. Awarded organizations include Arc Broward, Cincinnati Works, Durham County Library Foundation, Metropolitan Ministries, The DEC Network, The Women’s Resource, and others.
