The first of its kind in the nation, the Network Monitoring and Assistance Center is staffed 24/7 and equipped to monitor service and performance on North Carolina’s new digital emergency services network, called ESInet.
The Arts Learning Community for Universal Access named the three 2019 Betty Siegel Award honorees, including Hilary Leggette of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at N.C. State University, PineCone’s Courtney Wheeler, and Liani Yirka at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
The N.C. Department of Information Technology opened the Network Monitoring and Assistance Center, which will help support an uninterrupted flow of communication for emergency call centers that have adopted next-generation 911 technology.
