Online giving seen as a way to engage young, cross-platform technology users

Companies are tailoring online donation resources to fit the giving impulses of mostly young, plugged-in multi-taskers who want their gifts to be part of nonprofit solutions. “The total dollars they are giving is smaller, but they recognize that it’s about more than posting a tweet or volunteering,” says GiveCorps CEO Jamie McDonald. “They get that giving money is what helps organizations grow.”
